“ This highly rated restaurant did not disappoint. First ambiance was very hip and chill. The servers were both knowledgeable and attentive. The pace of service was fantastic. Amazing drink selection. Margaritas were the best in town. As an extra treat they had a nice selection of Sotol. We had the small plates. Tacos, Tamalpais, enchiladas. All amazing but the vegetarian enchiladas were extra special. For dessert we had the Charros. Great experience. I also enjoyed the fact the patio is dog friendly. My minature poodle also enjoyed the corn chips ”
“ I've been wanting to check out the new Nixta that recently reopened in Delmar Maker District. We finally dined here on Tuesday night. It's a gorgeous restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating options. I'm obsessed with Nixta's interior design,from selecting the perfect tables/chairs to creating a vibrant, Instagrammable dining space with inviting atmosphere. They also played very very good music. It definitely made my night more enjoyable. I was craving for seafood, and Nixta definitely delivered. We ordered guacamole, Baja cod tacos, mixto ceviche, tamales,and churros. For me, the real winner at Nixta would be the mixto Mexican ceviche. It's a perfect balance of acidity, heat, and freshness. Guacamole was heavenly good. The cod in Baja tacos was crispy fried but lacking of taste, and texture. Service was friendly and attentive. Jonathan, the manager also brought out gelato for my son. He was so kind and welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at Nixta. We loved it and will definitely come back. Highly recommended! ”
“ Wow! This restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I really need to know who did the art that was hung up behind the bar, if I could purchase it for my house I would 10/10. Pineapple tiradito was by far the best appetizer. We also got a quesadilla and the mole sauce was the best I’ve ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ”
“ The reopened Nixta on Delmar is a delight! We enjoyed our guacamole app, hamachi aguachile, mixto ceviche, al pastor tacos, & carne asada tacos. Everything was tasty but the tacos were particularly outstanding. The sweet and savory balance from the al pastor tacos left us craving another helping. We cannot wait to return and try a few more dishes off the revamped menu. Bravo, Ben! This new location is sure to be a hit. ”

“ Nixta, named after Nixtamalization (traditional Mexico and Central America method to process maize) is another of Bengelina hospitality group star modern Mexican restaurant. The bright wall colors, decor and seating space in patio as well as inside will feel like you are transported to a Mexican beach cantina. Friendly staff, great drinks, small menu of starters, sides and entrees and fast service adds to the value of this place. Reservation through Tock is recommended. We had Ben as our server who was great with recommendations for food and desert! The Escolar ceviche and vinaigrette of Antojito perfectly complements the warm Nachos. Crispy octopus was artistically served and Tamale as well as Tacos were great as well. Portion size is on smaller side so so add a side of green or red rice etc. Overall a great experience and unlike any regular Mexican place in the city. ”

Seasoned and marinated to literal perfection. Every dish was stunning. You must end the night with the Tres Leches cake. It is made in house and it simply is a delight. Extraordinarily indulgent and worth every calorie. ”
